Administer the product orally, by dilution in the drinking water, as follows:

Administer the dose of 40,000 I.U. of potassium benzylpenicillin per kg bw, twice daily at 10-12 hour intervals, for approximately 3-4 consecutive days, the equivalent of 1 ml of solution for use/kg bw. In order to prepare the solution for use: dissolve the Pasteur Benzylpenicillin potassium in the drinking water in a ratio of 1:10 (e.g. 1 g of product in 10 ml of water). Administer the solution for use at body temperature, with a suitable syringe for application. Carry out the treatment in the period immediately after parturition, up to the 4th hour of life, at the latest. In the case of animals with a modified general state and/or in the case of animals with a loss of appetite, parenteral therapy should be performed. Care should be taken to ensure that the administered dose is consumed in full.

Chickens (substitute youth, broilers) and turkeys:
Administer a dose of 16,000 I.U. of benzylpenicillin potassium per kg bw for 3-4 consecutive days, every 8 hours. In order to ensure proper dosage, the body weight and water consumption should be determined as accurately as possible. The medicated drinking water should be freshly prepared. During the treatment period, the animals should not have access to any other sources of water besides the medicated water. However, you should also ensure that the animals have sufficient water available. After the end of the treatment period, the water supply system should be properly cleaned, in order to avoid the consumption of sub-therapeutic quantities of the active substance. The uptake of medicated water depends on the clinical status of the animals.

In animals with modified general condition and/or in animals with loss of appetite, parenteral therapy should be performed. If there is no significant improvement in the disease status after 3 days of treatment, the diagnosis should be revised and, if necessary, another therapy is recommended. After the disappearance of clinical symptoms, treatment should be continued for another two days.
